New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra

In the Hindu myth of Rahu and Ketu, as a punishment for drinking the nectar of immortality, a dragon was cut in half by the gods. The body was called Ketu, who floated without any given direction, and the head was Rahu, who remained hungry and unsatisfied. Eclipses are believed to be the bridge between Ketu and Rahu, and so are the moon’s nodes in your birth charts.

 The word "fate" comes from the Latin word "fatum," meaning "that which has been spoken," while "destiny" originates from "destinare," meaning “to ordain, to devote, to consecrate,” and is connected to the word destination. Eclipses also serve as the link between fate and destiny, connecting the past and the future.
The Libra new moon solar eclipse conjunct the south node (Ketu) is on its way, arriving at 12:13 PM EDT on Saturday the 14th.

Eclipses near the south node often signal the need to release something. With Libra in play, this is conceivably about the relationship dynamics we must remove to create better cycles. People we have recently encountered or will encounter in the next 6 months might "seem familiar," as they might be carrying something from our past, in this one or another. They may lead us to remember something we believe was taboo in our past (Pluto squares the nodes), and we may choose to accept whatever this means for us. 

Have you been holding too much? There is a serious and colder side to this eclipse, as the ruler of it, Venus, opposes Saturn. Saturn asks for a tough commitment, and this time, you don’t need to do it all by yourself this time.
